Vektor Spaces is committed to making our website usable for everyone. This includes people who use assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have built in

  • Keyboard navigability across all primary pages and the main menu.
  • Visible focus rings on interactive elements.
  • Sufficient colour contrast on body copy, captions, and CTAs.
  • Descriptive alt text on key images.
  • A prefers-reduced-motion path that quiets animations for users who request it.
  • Responsive layouts that hold up on screen readers and zoom up to 200%.

Known gaps

We know we are not perfect. Areas we are actively improving:

  • Some legacy image galleries still need richer alt text per image.
  • Captions for image-only marketing animations.
  • Full screen-reader testing on the Start-a-Project upload flow.

Reporting an issue

If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site, please email accessibility@vektorspaces.com with the page URL and a short description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two working days and to fix or document a workaround within ten.

Standards and references

Our target conformance is WCAG 2.1 AA. We also use established checklists (Lighthouse, axe DevTools) as part of our regular release process. Specific features (PDF downloads, embedded forms, third-party widgets) may have separate vendor-supplied conformance reports.

Accessibility across the Vektor Spaces website.

We want the site to be usable by people with different abilities, devices, browsers, and ways of navigating. We work toward clear headings, meaningful link text, keyboard access, readable contrast, responsive layouts, labelled form controls, and alternative text for informative images. Decorative graphics should not interrupt the reading experience.

Some interactive effects, videos, third-party services, or older content may not yet behave perfectly with every assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing maintenance responsibility. We review new pages and fix issues as they are identified rather than treating this statement as a finished claim.

Report a barrier

If a page, form, image, document, or interaction creates a problem, contact hello@vektorspaces.com. Include the page URL, the task you were trying to complete, the device or assistive technology involved if relevant, and a description of the barrier. We will use that information to investigate and provide a practical alternative where possible.

What an accessible experience means here

Accessibility includes more than a compliance statement. It means a visitor can understand page structure, identify the next action, complete a form, read important image information, and recover from an error without relying on a single sense or input method. We aim to keep the visual design distinctive while maintaining a predictable underlying structure.

We also review third-party scripts, motion, focus states, responsive behaviour, and downloadable material as part of ongoing site maintenance. Feedback helps us prioritise fixes that affect real tasks.
